AdminI'm really liking the Havoc/Boston. Not too hard to skin, but enough stretching and distortion to make for a challenge.
Lots of different schemes to choose from as well!
I just finished a pretty big pack (22 skins) for the 47th Bomb Group. It's been submitted to the Download section, but until it shows up, here's some extra screenies:
Some of the skins are optimized for the BostonIIIS "strafer" mod since the 47th did something similar with many of their A-20s.
Next up? :moil:
PTO.
Ohhh Yeeeeaaaa!!

12 years agoLevel 3Oh, these are gorgeous, Jim. You really do spoil us, you know.
I can't believe how busy this new job has me (thanks for your message by the way) but I did actually play IL2 a couple of nights ago and had a blast in a mission I had made and largely forgotten. It gave me a little hope that I might eable to get some time oin on this. I can't rereeember the original brief or the real events of the battle much anymore but so far what we have is quite a busy bunch of missions. They should be very replayable, assuming I ever finish them and make them 'playable' in the first place!

AdminI took a closer look at the framing around the nose glass. Oh, dear Lord. %)
Thank goodness very few of the early Havocs that had art on the nose!

AdminIt's been a long time away from skinning; I hope this little pack helps to make up for it!
RAAF Boston III Skinpack

11 years agoLevel 3These are great skins. A fair bit of camo variety but still all nice and army-looking. I loved the RAAF Pacific schemes you did. Those colours are so cool. Did they ever go up against the Hiens (or any other IJA plane skinned by A&A)? Those would be some nice looking missions.

11 years agoAdminLooking good Jim! ..and nice work on that greenhouse framing; that's a tough one for sure.

I was thinking about doing a separate generic A-20 pack with various schemes, plus the usual squadron generics included with marked skins. -
Main Adminyes!
