I?ve found a solution to my problem running your campaign.

The problem I had was with my installed version, Il-2 v4.12.2 + HSFX v7.0 + SAS ModAct v5.30
In this system your campaign doesn?t run at all! And btw I?ve got randomly (but few) crashes when trying to start Il-2

I?ve updated HSFX from 7.0 to 7.02 and everything it?s working right now!

arquillos, thx for your reply - i never updated my game to 4.12.2 cause i installed HSFX 7.0 over 4.12.1 and updated to HSFX 7.02 whihc includes the last game patch

I?m working on to complete the westfront campaign. Next part will be the time frame from 1941 to 1944, which adds to the exisiting parts like:

France 1939: phoney war/Sitzkrieg (Gilb57?s Westfront map)
France 1940: Fall Gelb (Gilb57?s Westfront map)
France 1940: Duenkirchen (Gilb57?s Westfront map)
Battle of Britain: The Channel Battles (Canon?s BoB1940 map)
Battle of Britain: Eagle Days (Canon?s BoB1940 map)
Battle of Britain: Defence of London (Canon?s BoB1940 map)

the following stages:

France 1941: Circus (DRK_Circus map)
Channel front spring 1942: Butcher Bird (DRK_Circus map)
France autumn 1942: Fortresses ahead (DRK_Circus map)
Channel front January 1943: All quiet at the western front (DRK_Circus map)
Channel autumn 1943: War of attrition (DRK_Circus map)
France may 1944: Pre invasion phase (DRK_Circus map)
Normandy june 1944: DDay (DRK_Circus map and stock Normandy)
Normandy july 1944: Breakout (DRK_Circus map and stock Normandy)
Netherlands fall 1944: Market Garden (Gilb57?s Westfront map)

All these parts available for RAF, USAAF and Luftwaffe pilots. Included are figher, fighterbomber and bomber campaigns.

The DRK_circus map is in scale 1:1 - serious fuel management for the Spifire pilots is recommended.


The invasion part for the RAF uses the stock Normandy map and you will start from the advanced airfields in the bridge head. The invasion part for the USAAF will use the DRK_Circus map and you will start your missions from the british island like the 8th AAF did.

The bomber campaign is expanded now till the invasion, you will also start your missions from Britain. I have added the Beaufort to the 1941 bomber subcampaign, if you choose the Beaufort you will fly basicaly an anti shipping campaign.

Furthermore i will take more advantage from the weather settings from Asuras mod which allowas more different weather conditions.

It?s 70% finished yet, so stay tuned ...

Hi. I still haven't completely given up trying to get this wonderful looking campaign to run. If I understand the preceding posts correctly, procedure is to bring IL2 1946 up to v4.12.1, install HSFX 7.0, install Asura Dgen, install the WF Campaign, install the additional files (all wing, etc) then the paint schemes. However I still cannot get Asura Dgen to work. I spent several hours on it yesterday. I see posters have mentioned they have it working with HSFX v7.02. I'm at v7.0. The problem is when I use the HSFX auto updater to bring it up to v7.02, it also updates my IL2 1946 to v4.12.2M. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to update it to V7.02 without the autoupdater?I have dug around alittle on the HSFX site without any luck.

that?s no problem, update with autoupdater to 7.0.2 and it?s ok

like mentioned before i never updated my game to 4.12.2 cause i installed HSFX 7.0 over 4.12.1 and updated to HSFX 7.02 which includes the last game patch

Problem is after end first mission, dont start next mission, briefing window is clear, sound "pip", create two files error.
(game is HSFX7.0.2, DgenMOD2.0.1.0 + HSFX fix, Campaign and skins is activation JSGME)

In roster, some pilots have strange overall kill (for example -2083553654)

started campaign, France 1939, I/JG26, Bf-109 E3 or E1

But if campaign started Bf-109 D1, campaign continue, next (two) mission.

Is Error in campaign or in my?
