10 years agoFri Jul 18 2014, 12:40amLevel 6This pack is dedicated to my favorite B-25 film, Hanover Street (1979). It starred Harrison Ford as Lt. David Halloran, Lesley-Anne Down as Margaret Sellinger and Christopher Plummer as Paul Sellinger. The low demarcation lines make this planes hard to skin, as some of the OD had to be painted over the "bottom" sections of the skin. So far I only have two:
41-51632 "Gorgeous George-Ann" (Halloran's plane and the star of the film)
41-51790 "Amazing Andrea"

Level 6Why are the images always squished in this website?

AdminCongrats on getting another pack finished
Any thoughts on what you'll do next? -
Level 6No, and that worries. I thought about doing an RAF camo B-26, like Asso suggested, but that'll be very hard. B-25s really are more in my comfort zone. In fact, I have done 58 skins, of which 47 are B-25s

Level 1I love these packs, but could you weather them a little bit more?.... I'm an addict for realistic looking combat planes, and they are always dirty and well used looking in all the WWII photo's... great job!
-
Level 6Sturm, I have no idea on how to weather the plane. It would've come in handy in the Catch-22 pack. This movie had no weathering whatsoever, so...
-
AdminWell there's an idea for your next project, taking time to experiment with weathering techniques and styles... smoke stains, liquid stains, paint chipping and fading etc.
